10 to 11 a.m. – Registered Apprenticeship 101 Webinar (webinar - Register here)

Registered Apprenticeship 101 is an opportunity for employers and community stakeholders to learn about registered apprenticeship as a workforce training model. The Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry's apprenticeship development team will discuss what registered apprenticeship is and how the development process works. This webinar will highlight the development of new programs in non-traditional industries.

5:30 to 7 p.m. – Veteran Apprenticeship Panel (webinar - Click here to access the panel discussion)

Join Building Strong Communities and Minnesota Helmets to Hardhats for a panel discussion about the benefits of registered apprenticeship in the building and construction trades. This panel will feature registered apprentices, apprenticeship training center staff, leadership from Minnesota Helmets to Hardhats and Building Strong Communities and is led by Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development's Veteran Program Director Ray Douha. The panel will center veteran voices and highlight current programs that serve them.

A virtual Registered Apprenticeship Panel on Nov. 22, 2024, for individuals to learn more about what to expect as an apprentice. Apprentices across multiple occupations will share their successes, how they became an apprentice, their typical schedule and will answer audience questions. This webinar is intended for anyone who is interested in learning more about apprenticeships.
