Burnham water boiler explosion

The photos below are of the remains of a 280,000 BTU cast iron sectional water boiler made by Burnham that exploded. The explosion occurred at Hinton Heights Apartments, Cottage Grove, Minnesota, in October 2005; no one was injured. The boiler was too small to fall under our jurisdiction for inspections.
